CHURCH STREET HOUSE

The residential house has been moved from Baznīcas Street 18, where it was planned to be demolished. The building is an outstanding monument of mid-19th century classicist architecture in the center of Riga. This building is a great asset to the situation of the Balasta Dam and the Ķīpsala ensemble, and at the same time a loss to the environmental structure of Baznīcas Street. The volume of the building has been restored to its original appearance as a pure wooden house without brick wall sectors and secondary layers.
