MODEL APARTMENTS

The Red House is the final part of the Gypsum Factory ensemble on the northern side. The building stretches the entire length of the block along Gypsum Street and also encompasses the corners of Ogļu and Balasta Dambja Streets. Its oval roof structures form the vertical accent of the ensemble composition and repeat the motif of the first-stage glazed tower of the Gypsum Factory, which this time has been solved in a much more developed version - as huge round glazed roof apartment pavilions, perched on the flat terrace roofs of the solid brick body, from which fantastic views of the green hills of Ķīpsala, the river and Old Riga open up. The four apartments on the upper floor of the building, at the request of the client, have been combined into one two-level loft, which is open to the surrounding environment through wide window planes and terraces surrounding it. The interior code of the apartment is minimalism, the quality of construction is on the verge of perfection. According to the original idea of the entire ensemble project, the red Wienerberger brick of the building's facade enters the interior of the apartment. It is complemented by jatoba noble wood (parquet ceiling, floor and wall panels), metal (columns, fireplace) and green stone (floors - Anroechter stone, green brushed). The apartment has two Bulthaup kitchens adapted to the layout, one Arclinea kitchen, Boffi plumbing, Agape bathtub, sauna, as well as two elevators with an entrance directly to the apartment.
